The Best Product: Precision Aluminum PartsContinental Forge supplies products to a variety of industries ranging from aerospace to medical devices. Our products fall into three main categories- forged parts, machined parts and forged wheels. Forged parts are created through the use of an open or closed die, where a piece of alumunium is placed in a press and heated to the appropriate temperature. This can be done in a single or multi-step process with additional heat and chemical treatments to adjust the material properties as desired. Continental Forge makes forgings of all kinds- seamless, no draft, precision- and parts of all sizes. Machined Parts and End ITEM PARTS Machined parts are created from a basic forging with details cut into the part using a high-speed, multiaxis mill. Angled walls and unusual pockets or cavities that are otherwise difficult or impossible on a simple forging can be created with tight tolerances. Continental Forge also has the capability to create end-item parts. We'll handle all the details from start to finish so that the customer has a completed part, painted with hardware and ready for installation. Forged wheels are similar to the forged parts except that their application is specific to the manufacturing of truck wheels. See the Continental Wheels website for more information on the machined wheels.
